The school is named after St. Arnold Janssen, the founder of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD), whose vision of faith, education and service guides the school community.

The Man Behind the Name
St. Arnold Janssen
A priest of visionary zeal, St. Arnold Janssen founded the Society of the Divine Word (SVD). The feast of St. Arnold is celebrated in the school every January — a tradition begun on 15 January 2007.
The SVD Presence
The school is administered by the SVD fathers; Superior Generals and Provincial Superiors of the SVD have visited and blessed the school community over the years.
A Grotto in His Memory
The grotto of St. Arnold Janssen was inaugurated in January 2014 and remains a quiet place of reflection on campus.
